have now seen 48 of Ebert's top 100. one way of measuring progress, while time ticks away. from the time of the last post, somethings have changed, and some haven't.
One great movie was "La Avventtura" by antonioni. brilliantly visual and exciting, black and white definitely rules! the whole drifting aspect is intriguing, especially as counterpoint against hollywood masala. I think great movies also succeed by going against the established grain of their times....

still haven't taken any cool snaps since the last post though. Will attempt to do so now....
